That's a shame I just bought some tickets yesterday.
But it's also a shame that you aren't going...
 
Hmmm... The BD festival is almost certainly not a goer for a range of reasons. However this is actually pretty near me, and not only that, I am actually completely free that weekend, what with the kids all being at their grandparents.

I was going to be healthy and do some vigorous outdoors type activities.

I've tried to sell Stig's ticket to spacehopper for her, he only lives down the road ;) but he's proving very hard to contact ....

Yes, I'm really looking forward to it. Should be excellent ... and I have the week off after, between Endorse It and Beautiful Days ... :cool:

Some mates of mine are driving all the way down to Endorse It** from Newark (Notts.) in a van ... they have good taste in festivals I reckon ...

**And BD as well :)

What's the damage on a ticket - out of curiosity...
 
The decision is poised on a knife edge. It's a choice between doing this three day sailing course that I have been wanting to do for a couple of years. Or going to a muddy field and getting socially trashed for a few days... which I have also been wanting to do for a couple of years.

I may have to consult sheep's entrails. Or find some way of skiving off work for three days so I can do both.

I went on a yachting course in Swanage.

In Dorset?

Yeh, I'd recommend it to anyone

As my stove guru I could show you me and it and we could make you a tea and an egg :)

Never underestimate the enticing power of a boiled egg.

Will you have little sachets of salt and pepper? How about an egg cup and soldiers?
