Well me and ken (and tons of other reel urbanz) are friends with her on Faceybook so we can't help but watch her every move; it's the law. And with it comes photos. Of her. Drinking Guinness!

I've never seen a picture of egirl. And yet I know what she looks like. HOW IS SUCH A THING POSSIBLE?

What could be more realistic than:

Who's upset you this time Alan?
Oh, people. I just hate... the general public.

I rate Partridge and Brent equally highly. They're both - to me - grotesques almost, like a comedic representation of someone you've probably met who has a personality disorder. Massive delusions are central to both characters.

Partridge seemed a more long lasting phenomenon, but the Office was landmark - comedy for the New Labour age, a bunch of creeps who pretend to say and do the right-on thing but still shaft you the same old way.

Heard Coogan on Desert Island Disks. Dunno if he's some major cunt like people make out, but he seemed a decent geezer on that.

Well you said Partridge makes you laugh more. But I got the impression you rated Brent for another reason.
I meant: whereas Patridge makes me laugh, Brent doesn't.

Do I have to rate Gervais for something? OK, he was good at spoiling Stardust.

Partridge for me, hence the tagline;)

Brent gets under my skin, cringeworthy and doesn't have me laughing so much. I've caught the US version once and it looked okay.

One of my favourite Steve Coogan sketches:D

Partridge by a million light years. Probably the greatest comedy character ever (followed by Larry David and Malcolm Tucker, although not sure in which order).

The Office was OK, but never a classic for me. Also Brent wasn't the sole focus of the comedy, needing others to interact with, whereas Alan would be funny in just about any situation.

Partridge for me, but only really only for the first series of I'm Alan Partridge, which was hilarious. Knowing Me Knowing You was OK, and the second series of I'm Alan Partridge was a bit cartoonish, but oh that first series and the Linton Travel Lodge. Classic stuff.

I don't find either Larry David or Seinfeld funny, by the way.
