Who will be buying Ugg Boots this year?

I quite like them. But they are too expensive. And shit in the wet, which, if we're being honest here, is all our winter is likely to be.

Ugg boots? Pah! I'll be wearing some of the new FitFlop winter styles. Why would you ever want to wear anything else?

Satisfaction guaranteed!

(Ha! ;))

i want some ugg boots but i just cant imagine me wearing them outside. they also look common, or should i say 'over worn' yes perhaps that the right term...
:o snob
also as zenie said, they look completely shit when they are even slightly worn
i am going to get some pretend ones for slippers though, marks and spencers do nice grey coloured ones

The slipper ones have the benefit that if you wanted to nip to the shop it's not obvious you're wearing slippers.

The teen went out in some this afternoon. I'm disappointed in her. :(

However, she has said she's going to buy me some from Primark to use as slippers in the winter.

My mum told me she wants some Ugg boots.. fuck knows why. I bet she doesn't realise how much they are either..

She does now, we were looking at them in Cabot Circus.

I'd like some boots, I don't like the normal Uggs and I can't seem to find the Ugg Ultras anywhere.

Tried on a few pairs of other boots at the weekend but none of them fit.

I have a pair of Ugg boots that I bought online for about £60 quite a few years back. They are very comfy and warm but as already mentioned they are crap in the wet...seriously quite dangerous so not very practical.

I would probably advise against buying and suggest looking at the Rocket Dog range of boots.

I think Rocket Dog look much nicer - and they usually have some cheap in TK Maxx as well.

I can't get them on though.

They look a bit like the wool slippers my mum got me for Xmas a few years ago - which would have also been about 5% of the price.

People really pay £140 for these?

Nope. Ugly and expensive.
Have to agree.

The lack of heel support leads to kids destroying the boots by treading on the inside of the heel, plus these infernal boots encourage trudging.

And another thing, Uggs are revolting if they get wet. Your feet sit and fester in cold, damp sheepskin and the smell is unholy. Plus the boots get those heinous white salt/sweat stains.

They're horrendously ugly --- now I find out they're horrendously expensive.

Why????

I believe they call it fashion and comfort.

I have a pair as slippers, they're lovely  (mind you, I got them for £30 in the airport... wouldn't pay full price... what a joke!)

I always thought they were waterproof.

I'm planning on buying a pair this week, (and I think they look great when worn in) but that's really dissapointing for that price.:(

The pair I want are priced at £170 in Richmond high street. Is that about right or is it cos I live in an up their arse area?:hmm:

That sounds about right - they are that price on the Ugg website (for the 'Classic Tall' ones)

I have a pair in Chocolate colour & love them.
