Who were the first real goth band?

Goths were silly people who pretended to be ghouls and vampires and such-like. You'll get none of that with your Bummymen :D

Used to live with the bloke that wrote that. What a crap name that was. Really tried to push Blood & Roses into the big time, they were fairly gothy. Good live band, probably the best to come out of Stoke Newington. Couple of years later than Bauhaus though.
