Sherlock Holmes The Complete Collection (DVD, 16-Disc Set) Jeremy Brett | eBaytheres an election going on you know! will come back to this thoughRight, now you've got me started. Two questions. As it appears that the forums favourite holmes are Basil Rathbone closely followed by Jeremy Brett, what story is the best and portrayed by who, an actual production or not?
For me, as a massive JB fan, I would love to see him and Edward Hardwick in A Study in Scarlett. Also toying with the idea of Cumberbatch and Freeman do a " serious" Victorian Holmes and Watson story. Would attempt a poll but I'm bollock deep in shiraz atm.
Apologies to all. In my defence, I can only blame the grape.theres an election going on you know! will come back to this though
Currently watching the case of the careless sufregette, filmed 1954. I don't know about the best or worst Sherlock but it's the most ridiculous story with the stupidest names ever.
"I am an anarchist and I believe in nothing" says the bombmaker Boris Turgoff. "Sherlock Holmes" The Case of the Careless Suffragette (TV Episode 1955) - IMDb
Everybody likes a happy endingA zealous suffragette acquires a bomb shaped like a croquet ball, intending only to draw attention to her cause, but it is switched with a real croquet ball and explodes, killing a member of Parliament.
