Charleys music is great, but barely audible (as someone pointed out earlier). Although the noise gives it a historical feel, I reckon it would be great if it were possible to get versions with the crackly bits digitally removed. Surely someones come up with some software that wont do a dolby on it!

btw. Lots of great recommendations on here and lots of new (old) stuff for me to go and find. I shall make it my mission to hear as much as possible this week.
 
Listened to the charts last night and the blues still making a direct impact. Viz the new girls aloud record... and the new will young tune.
