Who started an OU course in October?

Just got my latest score - not as good as my last one but good enough for me - I'm finding this course hard going though - it's the 'exam' assignment next month :eek: I can't believe I'm 6 months in - almost finished :) going to start planning my next one soon!
 
Not submitted it yet, this is the second TMA in a row where the deadline is midnight Saturday :confused:

Anyway, 0844am and a thousand words to go - Urban is not where I should be ;)
 
I spend more time on urban when there is an essay due than at any other time and then have to sit up untill 2 in the morning to get it done . Its horrible when you submit etma late ,even with an extension it tells you in big angry red letters that your LATE . Ive set my self a earlier deadline for the next tma which would explain what Im doing here now.

:D I've asked for an extension but still trying to make the deadline...I was up till gone 3am ...:D about the big angry red letters ...i normally reply 'SO FUCKING SUE ME!'

Ive still got 3 more and an exam to contend with.It seems a bit relentless at times .
 
I had my exam this afternoon - relieved it's over, did as well as I could, not sure how well that was but at least it wont be a fail - I did ok - going out to celebrate later :)

Last time I felt like that coming out of an OU exam I got a first :D

How is everyone getting on? Just submitted my last TMA on Saturday, the usual last minute dash...next week start on my final 30 points at level 3.

How did you do in the exam RubyBlue?
 
Just stuck in the 4th TMA, one more and a CMA to go, although that's piss easy.

Just between Q1 and 2 om TMA 5 now - programming so it doens't involve reading too much (just hitting keyboard and shouting at computer...)

I looked at MSc's with the OU but there wasn't anything specific enough that I really fancied so I'm going to go to uni part time to do my masters. Well, that's if the uni will ever answer my email lol, I rang and emailed on the 20th, then again on the 28th and still no reply - how rude! I'm going to give them another poke today as I want to get on with the application and all that.

Good luck with your masters - what are you thinking of doing?
 
Got the results of my first TMA back today, I just had to write a short essay and submit an essay plan with it. As this was the first time I'd written an essay since being at school I was'nt expecting to do that well - but my tutor has given me top marks for it:eek::cool:

Nice one :cool: I have only one month left of my course and I'm so excited - I can't believe I've done it :D Silly me - doing a OU course :cool: ETA: It's my second course and now looking at what I should do it October - has to be along the psychology / sociology theme.
 
Starting a Maths course in June, rather looking forward to it actually. Hope to take it further with computing and or advanced maths at a later date

I remember when I did my first course - I didn't even know what an essay plan was - I had never actually done one :D The OU is great, I've been loving my courses so far!
 
Anyone else finished their October course? I'm done and dusted and waiting for the results nervously - although overall this level 2 course went better then last years level 1 did - so I'm hoping :)

I loved all my level 2 courses too...r u going onto level 3?
