I did - Psychology - and I'm noticing the difference between the Level 1 course I did last year and this Level 2 one - it's only the first month as well - the easy month :(

I did too.Im doing level 2 care ,welfare and community. Im enjoying the reading and like the fact that the material is more in depth than the level 1 ,however there is an assignment looming and that makes me feel a bit  Some blocks are better than others though, perhaps you just started with a duff one.

Level 1 IT stuff. All jolly interesting - the heads up wrt level 2 being a step up is welcome - although it'll prolly be a couple of years before I get there.

me...my second level 3 course...final course for my degree in Health and Social Care ...it gets harder...sorry to scare ya'll

:D no I'm enjoying it really - I like the fact it's harder then the first course it's just that I have my first assignment coming up and it seems far harder then any of the ones on my Level 1 course (which stands to reason) - I think I just expected the first month to be a bit of an easy ride :D

first essay is normally weighted around 10% so dont stress :)

did a 30 credit level 1 and 30 credit level 2 course this year

will be doing a 60 credit and 30 credit level 2 course next year

Level 1 course was pretty straight forward - was quite easy as the worked examples in the book were very very similar to the assignment questions though I guess you do need to start from somewhere. The level 2 course was good and required me to think a bit too. Quite looking forward to the two courses in Jan/Feb next year.

Only 3 years to go and I'll have a Maths & Statistics degree (hopefully).....

Y'see, 90 points is just too scary! 30 will do me just now - even with only working 4 days, having two kiddies just means there's no way I think I'll ever be able to manage more than 60 points.

But then I'm not in a rush...

My brother has started one. It's most unexpected as he's spent most of his life doing labouring of some kind or another. He's doing one in Classical Literature or something :D

ive often thought about studying especially at the minute cos im stuck in a rut but not sure if i could go from building trades to accademic . me birds studying podiatry i didnt se the need for a 3 year course i managed to work my i pod after just fiddling with it a bit . but seriously thought about doing phychology and then maybe a spelling course not sure if i could be devils advocate tho cos im too opinionated and my views are NOT WRONG lol

Oct till June & Feb to Oct

Interesting. What partly put me off doing more was giving up sunny Sundays to do my study and homework. Of course I wouldn't have to have done that had I done study and homework on weeknights instead of leaving it to the last minute.

I think they're trying to get a lot more of the courses on oct-june as it's more popular than courses that run through the summer.

I've just started my level 2 politics and have had to apply for an extension on my first assignment because I've been so busy. :o

Started November 1st, PostGrad Certificate in development management... Just got cracking today

Is that for the hell of it or do you see it as being extra valuable.? Id considered stopping after 1level 3 course next year because im starting to get a bit impatient with it all,but after reading some stuff on the OU website last night I can see that perhaps its best if i carry on.

IMO it is extra valuable and I'm studying for free so might as well make the most use of the courses on offer :D

I am going to miss the OU though :(:)
