who misses work?

i do love christmas, but i love my job so much, i miss it a bit!!

am serious. havent checked my work emails yet but i miss it. Ive been keeping an eye on my stories as i need to over the christmas period..... cant help myself....to be very honest i look forward to attacking my work like a bloodthirsty hound in the new year!!!

anyone else???

tell me to fuck off if you want!!! :)

Are you Peaches Geldof??:hmm:

I don't miss work at all and am definitely not looking forward to going back. New year, new projects, new headaches and power struggles.

<sigh>

Well known phrase, often ends in ...Dwyer

Another clue:

Can someone familiarise me with the origin of this phrase?

Heard it mentioned so many times but it has evidently passed me by. Who was Dwyer? And why was he being told to fuck off?

Thank my sweet arse I'm not in that situation.
Rented all the properties so even if my wife (Who is not much younger than me) did bugger off there would be sod all in her pocket and lots left in mine.
Not that it's likely to happen anyway when you marry for love.

Nice try at shitting me up lads but one off the mark. :p

If what you said below, was a joke, then good luck, but if it was serious, then karma will take care of things.....in it's own way....you'll see in time, hopefully not tooooo late.
I have had no owrk for 16 months now and I'm ready to do something.
I've opened a business for my wife, one for myself and will soon be starting two more for me.

It's great here for business. Almost no labour laws and the ones they have are ignored for the most part. I can make cash and exploit locals all day long.

Just like it was in 19th century England
but with the internet.

Don't miss my work but am getting a bit bored stuck at home being very lazy.

This

My body is telling me it needs the break but my mind is incredibly bored with now't to do in the sticks...Hmm...

Bit of this too ^ ^

I have not had this much time off for so long I forget when it last happened. Enjoying the resting and freedom (Christmas was good too of course) but I kinda miss the routine that I moan about so much. I also know that I will be working all hours through Jan 2009 as we have piles to do and the anticipation of this is making it hard to relax or switch off.

i could quite happily spend the rest of my life sitting around doing nothing but eating, drinking and watching telly. having to go back to work tomorrow is making me feel a bit sick, tbh.

I love my job, but a bit of time off is nice. I'm not back until 5th Jan, by which time I will be ready to take it on again!

job? she's peaches fucking geldof and don't need no job :p

Fact! When I was working on the bar at Glastonbury in 2007 I served Peaches Geldof without knowing who she was. Shame, coz at the time she was 17, and I could have given it "Have you got any ID, love?" :(

i am back at work. it sucks. how anyone could miss this, when the alternative is being at home having fun, is beyond me, it really is.
