England use Sweet Chariot for rugby as well don't they

We could just have one for our sports events like Jerusalem or Sweet Chariot or Dambusters and keep the God Save the Queen one for when the queen goes for a walk or whatever

Irish of course is the best.

Sweet Chariot isn't really official though, they just use GSTQ

Very powerful witnessing the South African national anthem with the blend of languages, cultures incorporated into the song, usually when I hear it I see huge rugby players and fans of all backgrounds singing it in tears, so I think as an anthem it must work on a few levels.

From my unqualified point of view, it seems to be something that the post apartheid government has got right.
