spain and germany have been the two best sides so far.

I really like senna and villa for spain(other then usual suspects) and the german left back has impressed me no end.

Toure(not kolo) has well impressed me for ivory coast as has kalou who i canmt belive chelsea only piad 3million for.

The entire competition has impressed me. The coverage - TV & Newspaper, even the ammount of threads on here, even the fantasy leagues are great.

Just the whole World Cup is brilliant, there's been great goals, the timing of the games is spot on.

Football is everywhere, and we're only now going into phase 2.

Yes there's beena few teams to stand out, Argies, Italy, Czechs, Spain... but there'll be a few more teams will now stand up to get counted. and we still have 3 weeks of pure football left.

I reckon he should go to arsneal be a great replacemeant for ashley cole and the fact that he has to cut in rather then cross would be a good thing as who the fuck is going to score a header at arse.

He has looked good for ages. Liverpool were close to signing him, but it fell through. Great passer of the ball, perhaps a little lightweight though?

We'll see how he gets on v Bolton/Blackburn/Wigan etc in the Premiership.
