My answer is more complicated than is allowed for within your poll. POLL FAIL.

Exactly: stick it in, take it out, wait til it dries and fold. Now if only someone could come up with a robot that folds and hangs clothes.

Fair enough, it's no biggie at all to do the washing machine part of it, but the hanging out to dry, then the folding up part it is considerably hasslier .... :hmm:

I am single, I do all the washing and the cooking and cleaning.

Though that said, there is not much cleaning done here !! :-)

I do it, because it never occurs to him that it needs doing. He just starts wearing my clean clothes when he runs out. I prefer him not to hang it out to dry because he doesn't smooth out the wrinkles and I refuse to own, let alone use, an iron.

He mostly does the shopping, cooking and smelly jobs. I mostly do the dishes and the laundry.

We have a local boatyard with a huge washing machine and equally huge drier. £5 for both including soap, and it take 4 normal sized loads. Heaven! I do that every few weeks when we need sheets and towels doing, and handwash other bits in the meantime. I didn't think I would handwash much, but I found a very easy way to rinse - just build a dam of clothes at the non-plughole end and stick the shower head behind it. The water runs clear remarkably quickly, so it only uses about as much water as a washing machine would.

:o She does it all, i may occasionally hang it out but not that often. We only do 2/3 loads a week though.

My Mrs does most of it. I've done bits but it's mostly her thing.

She is to the washing machine what I am to the cooker. Guaranteed when she comes in from anywhere she'll be doing something with washing, while I'll be making a brew.
