Who do you want to be the next US President?

Al gore

i missed what he did - but i got that there was lots of fall-out. so what did he say?

Was in a school in california and said to the children (I'm paraphrasing) "kids do well in school or otherwise you'll get stuck in iraq".
Bush's spin on it, is that hes indirectly calling the armed forces stupid.
I like kerry but he is easily distracted by the rubbish that Bush's team spout. If America can still elect Bush, means its not ready for a female president.
The democrats are trying to use bush politics to win over voter, (can't remember the dem senator who supports gun ownership and is running for ohio) and that will ultimately backfire as no one can out bush bush and his team of sycophants.

bruise,

*sigh* He said that if you didn't study hard and do well in school then you could end up getting stuck in Iraq.

For the republicans - between Condi Rice and John McCain. I think Rice will stand a better chance of getting the nomination if Hillary runs.

For the Dems - Al Gore or Hillary Clinton.

Who would be the least alwful?

Al Gore - might help in the planet saving stakes.

Cant help thinking that all of them look like intellectual giants compared to the present incumbent.

My top choice is Wesley Clark, former 4 star general, liberal, harsh critic of Iraq war, favors some kind of nat health ins system.

Sen Russ Feingold

Brothers in arms.

Doesn't Jeb just look so Presidential?

I've read that Jeb was the one who was always groomed to be President and that George W. was written off until he surprised his family by going into politics.

I'm certain we'll see a bid for the Republican nomination at some point in the future.

I have to say that that is the first picture i've seen where bush (g) actually looks HUMAN.

I don't like it one bit, being confronted with the idea that the man somehow has some kind of spark of humanity in him. I had come to think it beyond the man.

For the repubs I'd like to see McCain or Powell. For the dem's Feingold - I think Clinton, although she'd be a great pres, would split the country too much (as Bush did, but the other way round).

Of those candidates with even an outside chance of actually making it - Sen. Russ Feingold, no competition.

Of those people who are in an elected office from which they could launch a campaign, but who would stand no chance whatsoever - Rep. Bernie Sanders (will be Sen. Bernie Sanders next week).

Of anyone in the USA - MR T!!

:)

Look it really does not matter either way. The new one, if they're not already a mass-murdering criminal will very soon become one. It's part of the job description.

And the farce continues. Presidents for killers, but no prison. Fuckin easy easy.

I tell you who i want for next president. Sean Penn.

He saw through that bullshit american dream stuff, but unfortunately he's got a few brain cells, and therefore cannot possibly qualify.

Sean Penn? He who went out to 'rescue' the poor and suffering of NO after Katrina but had to wait until he had a boat big enough for his entourage and a camera crew? No different from any other, and in some ways worse since he's utterly convinced of his moral superiority from the rest of Hollywood.

JEB BUSH IN '08!

Hillary and Condi are both strong potential candidates so it's far from a pigs flying situation...

And if one runs it kind of opens the door for the other.

Ah well, i was just remembering stuff from years ago, when he saw through the 'american dream'.

But either way, are you actually supporting this bush relative for the job? Or are you doing irony??

Whoever gets the job, don't matter. Their strings will be pulled.

But anyway, at least an election keeps the illusion up that it makes any difference.

Plutocracy. How does one vote for that??

Pile of fucking bullshit.
