My local team......

But i've liked and admired Liverpool especially since 1984 when Walsall came close to beating them in the Milk Cup (League Cup). They lost 4-2 on aggregate after drawing 2-2 in a excellent match at Anfield, then losing 2-0 in the 2nd leg at Fellows Park. The kop sportingly applauded the Walsall team after the final whistle.

I'll never forget that whilst i was watching the match on tv.

I do follow Palace, and like to see them do well, but seem to despise most Palace fans i encounter. They seem to have such an over-inflated view of a team who were shite, then had a good run of games 20 months ago, and have been largely shite ever since. It was a freak good run, like Wigan are having now.

Though Palace are 6th now, which isn't too bad, they are in fact closer points wise to relegation than automatic promotion


....and the constant complaining as to why AJ is only on the fringes of international football.

God, it sounds like i really hate Palace, it is more my Palace-loving boss and co-worker that have led me to this anger!!
