You are not wrong. When they equalized I briefly thought that it would be a better game from then on, but if anything it got worse, there was zero effort from any of the Senegal team (and only slightly more from the South Africans)... one can only come to the conclusion that they wanted to get back to Europe as soon as possible.

Is there a more hated player in world football than Diouf though? He seems to wind everyone up.

Possibly not...thing is, I actually thinks he's a decent player - the World Cup when they beat France he looked sublime. First touch, pace, vision. Same with Niang...seen some of him at Marseille and I my instant thought was "the new Weah". Seems not.

South Africa....showed some glimpses that the young players are good but jesus they really, really need to get McCarthy back because they lacked nay sort of killer edge in the final third.

Ghana were incredible in the World Cup but they seem to have faded a bit in the ACN this year. They will need a class goal poacher if they want to get anywhere.

Angola vs Egypt

The defending champs Egypt are 2-1 ahead against Angola (The Black Antelopes). Bad defending from the Angolans from a cross allows Amr Zaki to score.
Before that Man U bound Manucho scores the goal of the tournament to equalise (i think the Man U fans wil want to have a look at his class goal btw) after Egypt scored first with a penalty by Hosny.

It's quite a good match although the North Africans are stating to control the match.
