The best toast is made using white bread - that's all it's good for.

I make my own white bread in my funky bread maker.

For toast, it can't be beaten.

For sarnies, has to be wholemeal. Preferably home made, with basil.



The claggy, shrink wrapped, sliced white rubbish that pretends to be bread (e.g. Tesco value white loaf) is only fit to be fed to ducks.
