which team have dropped the most clangers re: youth

Walsall have sold off a couple of our quality young players just to keep the books balanced. The biggest one of late is Matty Fryatt any Leicester City fans will know how good he is. Sold him a couple of seasons ago and our good season went to shit, haven't really recovered since. He's now League One's top goalscorer. Leicester got him for a pittance as well really.

we had d'allesandro on trial as a 17/18 year old but didnt want to play river plates asking price.:(

I thought it was because Bungpuss said he couldn't play him and Cole in the same team, due to them being virtually identicle players.

Yeah, Salas broke a toe or something I believe and isn't there some story about Kenny Dalglish choosing Liverpool over us, only because it is closer to Scotland and he was worried about getting homesick?

Yes, if only Second Division West Ham had been a little closer to Scotland, Dalglish would have gone there rather than European Champions Liverpool

I'm sorry, are you lot supposed to be football fans? Zinedine Zidane probably wasn't "well-known" before France '98.
Zinedine Zidane was "well -known" before France'98,he came to Euro96 with a lot of hype surrounding him which he did'nt live up to during that tournie,Henry played for those well known Euro giants Monaco before he spent a fruitless season with Juventus, was'nt until he established himself with the Arse that he became "well-known"

In 1995, Blackburn Rovers coach Kenny Dalglish had expressed interest in signing both Zidane and Dugarry, to which team owner Jack Walker reportedly replied, "Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?

lols!

I knew him from bordeux but in terms of world players he wasnt known till he went to juve to be honest.
