Which program do you hate using the most?

I hate exel and its inabiltiy to cope with anything a bit big or mathematical and put it in a graph. Mac microsoft office is dreadful too

Making graphs on Excel is like pulling teeth. Specifically pulling one's own teeth. With a claw hammer.

Although I did use Excel for drawing evolutionary trees for my dissertation; obviously Excel isn't remotely designed for that but using only cell borders and other formatting skullduggery I managed to cobble together something vaguely convincing without resorting to proper genetics software, or even a graphics program. That might have been the only original idea in the whole 12,000 word document tbh

Capita SIMS and a cashless system called EMOS which cannot be linked into anything, nothing can be extracted and should I require any changes to management reporting I have to contact one of their very expensive techies.

Sun Accounts - was never installed properly and when the accountants will allow it will need to be reinstalled. It has totally broken Excel 2007 for our accounts department. You can walk away and come back 10 minutes later and it has killed excel.

Adobe Acrobat Professional - whenever I open a pdf from email it decides to use this and I instantly try to force quit as it will take 2 minutes to load, whereas preview will take 1 second.

Powerpoint - totally naff compared to Keynote.

Symantec PC Anywhere - the only software I know that can crash a (hardware) firewall during normal operation.

Sharepoint (if you can call it a program) - bane of my life.

My vote for office 2007 - hunk of shit. I use to know where everything was until the 'improve menu system'' they have tried to make it so easy to use that it's now impossible to make it do what you want without frantic googling.

Close second livelink - appalling

I used to think that, but then i have found it easier after a while. Things like page break preview are the same in both (view > page break preview). Thing is most people would agree it wasn't really broken in the first place.

Windows Media Player: it loses tracks and tells you that there are "no recently added items" when you've just ripped a CD.

Real Player is just full of spam.
