Which of these should I get?

The phrase 'sensible shoes' is oxymoronic, if you're a grown-up. Childen have sensible shoes bought for them by adults. When you're a grown-up you can have what you like!

:D

Second pair - metallic is the future, and the first ones will be really dirty and nasty by the second time on.

I don't think there are many things the bottom ones would go with that the top wouldn't. No more than the top would go with that the bottom ones wouldn't..

I wouldn't wear either of them! they don't have heels. :p

I agree...and with the first pair I think there are limited options as to what clothes they will go with. Second pair are happy, pretty and comfortable looking.

another thought on this important topic...I don't think the first pair would compliment lighter skin tones...would make the shoe look more washed out.

I'm with moose. The second pair are nicer than the first pair, but I don't really like either of them that much.

I don't know what to do now :(

I want a pretty pair of comfy shoes that I can wear with skirts (ie not bloody birkies or crocs), that are flat so I can walk long distances in them and that don't gape like ballerina shoes do. I've got really wide short feet and they look ugly on me

Any ideas?

i like the first ones.

that said, if you are planning on walking long distances they are going to get dirty really quickly. are they washable?

innit. I want to look like a fat Audrey Hepburn spangles, not a butch lesbian on a rally :p

I'm wearing these today, and i do not look like a butch lesbian on a rally.

(and they come in black, ms hepburn...)

Mmm. I like flat shoes too, but not keen on those pic's. I'd go for boho style flat leather sandals, the shoes in the pic's look like slip-ons for pregnant women who can't tie laces! I hate slip on shoes! Quite like Birkenstocks.
