Sonik - how do you cope with veggie parmesan btw. It's rank, but I can't imagine Italian food without parmesan really. It's just not the same

Ahh well i am not that hardcore veggie to be honest, i couldn't do without parmesan. Just not into eating huge hunks of meat or fish that's all.

Twynham Grange "parmesan-style" hard cheese is just as good as authentic italian parmesan, Booths and Sainsburys stock it.

Sorry, but I've tasted and used a fair bit of Twineham Grange. And it's not even close to a decent parmesan. It's alright - better than dried parmesan - but it doesn't have the depth of the real stuff imo

Dried vomit from a vegetarian makes an acceptable substitute for vegetarian parmesan.
