Ach, it'll be a nice machine whatever. It's just such a classic of a design that it doesn't change that markedly externally - a little edge off here, a new port here or there and that's about it. No need to do much more - there's something about the solidity and appearance of the macbook pros that just feels right.
Processor upgrades are always going to happen, albeit this one could be more of an aid in cooling and extending battery life of the laptop than most. Only thing I'd be a little gutted to see after purchase is a new and improved multitouch trackpad and a magnetic clasp like the basic macbooks. But there's unlikely to be anything more innovative going on - Kanda shouldn't have too much to worry about.
