I had a nano. It broke after 13 months. Don't think I'll buy another posh mp3 player, just stick to cheap sd card ones which I dont care if I lose/break. Just waiting for someone to do one which takes sd cards bigger then 2gb.

1st Gen Nano 2gb black, scratched to shit. Stopped working once - smacked it around and it came back.

Will probably replace with 16gb iPhone as the iPod Touch is almost 2 thirds of the price.

I've got a 30gb classic. Can't remember if it's 4th or 5th gen - it's the generation before they introduced video.

It started dicking about a few months, both freezing and battery problems. I've not had a proper tinker with it as I rarely use it anymore now I've got (a) a scooter for getting about on and (b) a treadmill at home - before I mainly used it for company getting out and about, and so I could listen to something half decent when doing cardio at the gym.

I wouldn't mind a 160gb classic though - when I see one in the sales at a price too good to resist I'll pick one up.
