Which football team do you hate the most?

If very few teams fill it there is no point in making it all ticket, except for those clubs who might fill it. Anyway, I think someone said that all stopped a few years ago anyway. Why are you still going on about it?

sorry mate, I still don't understand your point When I go to away games, it doesn't matter one bit to me whether it's all ticket or not. The only downside is you can't suddenly decide to go on the morning of the game....I accept that.

The advantage of making a game all ticket is you can tell how many people are going to turn up before the game. It helps the police - who usually have a hand in making games all ticket. Since the 1985 riots at Luton (and before that) Luton has always been a place where away fans want to come and have a go, do some "paki bashing", smash some shop windows etc...so I'm not surprised the games are often all ticket.

My point is that it's easier when it's not all ticket & it seems like a bit of a piss take when you take 200 fans to an away end which can (apparently) hold 2,000 but you have to buy a ticket in advance or you can't get in.

My memory is not what it once was but I'm sure I went to see York City at your place & it was a right hassle trying to buy tickets over the phone (I live in London) & getting them posted down.

Could be seen to encourage people to go in the wrong end.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if it's stopped happening.

None too keen on Rangers either, but I only tend to pay attention to Scottish football results to make sure that Celtic are still doing better than them...

Of course, their latest wheeze of it being a national scandal that the Queen hasnt dished out the gongs to them all for winning the European Cup shows it as well,

i do support liverpool however i don't see why any sportsman or wmoan should receive an mbe/obe etc. your doing your job, you haven't done anything beyond your call of duty.

i do though see it as grossly unfair that man u got reckonised for their triamph in 1999 but we didn't.
