I am familiar with abbatoir techniques - I'm a personal injury lawyer.

Based on what I know, I don't eat halal meat. End of.

Oh my aching sides. What a card, a wag etc.

Oh fuck off. If you disagree, fair enough. Think 'ok, you're a cock.' and ignore. Don't drag it any further.

It's the "I'm a personal injury lawyer, so I know about abattoirs" part that's killing us.:D

He asked if I'd visited one. I had a tour of an abbatoir preparing to defend a woman with a back injury.

It's the way you put it, sounded like the two went together somehow.

Don't you have some sort of worker's compensation scheme where you are? Here, as a result of such legislation, workers have lost the right to sue their employers etc in tort for on-the-job injuries.

I'm surprised to hear that britain doesn't have similar legislation.

Well, and the bit about dirty Bradford halal curry houses. I spect personal injury lawyers in Bradford are caught up in dirty halal curry house personal injury claims all the time :D

He'd probably have a cardiac if he came to Tower Hamlets :D

p.s. Why would you be defending a woman with a back injury? Was the injured party somehow the defendant?

Sloppy language for a personal injury lawyer.:)

I wonder if that's why the Gobi desert is so-called.

Doesn't look much like a cauliflower to me:

Although with enough drugs it could look like a manatee. :D

well if you're making it yourself it doesnt matter..but if its from a takeaway then obviously not..

ever tried a ham bagel? :D

Haram roghan josh for the abatoir enabled personal injury lawyer - and make it snappy!

... or a bacon bagel :D

Actually, scratch the dhansak. Nicest curried dish I've had was a whole shoulder of lamb, marinated and cooked for a couple of days. Don't know what it's called as I've seen it or similar in a couple of places, and it's always called something else. Tasty though. :)

Although. I didn't ask whether it was halal or not.

:(

Jalfrezi but also dhansak and korai

I change my vote to this.

I 'heart' India and Pakistan and lager.

e t a

.... is this why there's so much hassle in Pakistan? Spicy food that cries out for ample cold beer, but you can't have any?

Lots of anger there.

There should really be an option for "glutinous dayglo spacegloop I occasionally get from the chippy. When I'm pissed"

Wot, no masala option in the poll?

And stop having a go at my fellow Bradfordian! :D Best curry in England here. I had a girlfriend from Birmingham once, and that place consistantly got voted the "Curry Capital" of England. I had a curry there...at that famous place where there's a mile of curry houses (can't remember name :D) it was shite!
Just to make any locals jealous now....I went to the buffet at the Agraar, Shipley tonight. Superb as usual!
