Which consumables do you lament the loss of most?

Spiras were excellent for dipping in tea. I used to get them at tuck shop at school at break.

I loved them fish n chip crisp/biscuit things too. Were they called Chish and Fips? Or is that my imagination?

I miss proper Flakes. They aren't the same now.

And that chocolate fondant bar Fry's used to make.

You can still buy the Fish 'n ' chips biscuit crisp things....(salt n vinegar flavour)...but sadly not and never been called chish and fips ....LOL

The Frys thing I think is the Frys 5 thing which would have been yukky with all that fondent goo inside...but I think they have most certainly past on.

That dehydrated orange juice powder. It was as good as freshly squeezed. It dissappeared from the shelves here a few years back, It dissappeared in Blighty 20 years ago.

Was it called Rise 'n' Shine? I used to love that, they made a blackcurrant one too.

As mentioned above, it was called Fry's 5. My granddad used to buy it for me. I miss Fry's 5

Another thing I miss: proper Smartie tubes. Smartie tubes are WRONG now.

Fry's Peppermint Cream, not sure? the orange one was good too. I'd forgotten Fry's 5.

You can still get Fry's Peppermint Cream, the mister buys them on a semi-regular basis. Orrible stuff.
