do you folk eat tartar sauce with fish? or is that just an american thing? i know that very few americans put malt vinegar on anything.

Yep, I made grilled salmon last night and spread some tartar sauce on it before it had finished cooking. Was beautiful and I dont usually like salmon :cool:
 
Does EVOO count as a condiment?

Do salt and pepper? They're seasonings really aren't they...

Apart from extra virgin olive oil and fake balsamic vinegar, I don't think there's any condiment that can always be found in my cooking room.
 
As many kinds of chilli / hot pepper sauce as possible (12, at the moment), soy sauce, french mustard, Maggi liquid seasoning, soy sauce.
