there was the fact that souness was a 'no nonsense' disciplinarian type of manager when bobby had bought every spoiled kid he could

allardyce gets the best out of the players he has. he also buys players to suit his system within his budget. He demonstrates all the hallmarks of being able to plan tactically and motivate a team. these are not qualities that roeder is currently displaying. or his useless coaching team.
