The Kinks - pop-tastic! Maybe.
The Doors - I'd have smacked that pretentious cunt and been thrown out.
The Small Faces - Very cool, maybe.

I could have written that - my thoughts to a tee apart from being too fat to be in Led Zep but a loathing of anything vaguely "sword and sourcery" would have kept me well away from them anyway ...
