Or try a control experiment. Go off and set up some boards, get thousands of people interested, develop a FAQ that points people to what you think makes for interesting threads/posts, wait until someone comes in who doesn't know the FAQ and complains that people are complete idiots for not allowing their thread and that they need to chill, and then see how you'd respond
