Where shall I teach English?

The CELTA costs around $1,000, depending where you do it it can be cheaper or more expensive.
I taught in Poland without a CELTA and now I have almost finished the course, I totally see the benefit of it. I feel so much more confident now.

I've got two telephone interviews lined up, one in Spain and one in Turkey...any advice? I really hope they don't spring a complex grammar question on me? :)

Anywhere would beat Birmingham in November so I hope I get one.

Where in Spain? If you have a year's experience, and are relatively self-sufficient, you'll be in demand, I'd've thought. Grammar question unlikely, unless they're particularly twatty. I think.
Good luck, anyway...

a friend is teaching English in Korea. In fact, she was only supposed to be there for a year, and spent three years out there, she loved it. She came back in the summer and hating being back in the UK so much she's now back in Korea. So it can't be that bad. Or maybe the UK is just so shite anywhere is better.

As soon as I've finished my PGCE and QTS year, I'm going straight back to China (assuming that international schools haven't collapsed over there due to the world situation).
