Where is the best view in London?

Prompted by the picnic thread; from where in your opinion is the best scenic view in London? A book I had in the 80's, by David Benedictus, claimed it was from the Roebuck pub in Twickenham.

You can see all the way to crystal Palace from there.

The Roof Gardens @ The Jam Factory in London Bridge give you a pretty fuckin good view (as does my kitchen balcony )
