Fair enough for all the work u do to stop Remploy closures but I think Hendo and others have explained why people dont stop.I always think a better place for a stall/leafletting area is the gap between M&S and Superdrug.Its less crowded there and some groups use it.

I actually have some sympathy with you concerning your experiences, as I found roughly the same when canvasing for KONP in SW2.
basically, it takes MORE than just leaflets, a whole lot more, as I'm sure you'd agree
However, if you engage with the public IRL like you have on this thread, you are the last person i'd choose to canvas with or collaborate with in any campaign group.
