Where is Brixton's politics?

Disablist? What has this thread to do with disablism? This thread concerns the lack of political connectivity I experienced in Brixton. .

I would have thought people not giving shit about disabled people being thrown out of work a total lack of political connectivity.

Just been skimming through some of this delightful posters previous posts.

He actually called Paulie Tandoori a potty mouth in one :D

The brief scan also concludes that Irenick's top 5 favourite swear words are:
1. cuntold
2. fucktard
3. cuntard
4. Err...that's it. Genius eh?

S/he's one of only 2 people i have on ignore.

In terms of fav swear words, there is another one - fuckmuppet i think it was.

I don't think they are disablist per se. They don't give a fuck in general.

I'm sure it would have been. After all the common factor in all of these failures in connectivity?

Irenick. :)

Was that a question or a statement? Maybe, it was a questment or a station.

All these failures?

Papingo:confused:

What I meant was....

I'm sure the reaction would have been the same whatever the subject matter.

The common link in all the failures of connectivity is you, Irenick.

sorry if my previous post was not clear.

Sorry Papingo, you still sound like a cunt. Now, fuck off and fall under a very heavy lorry.

I've just wasted 10 minutes of my life reading through this thread and I really wish I hadn't bothered. Can't we just bin it? :(

There's a benifit for Remploy tomorrow evening at jamm: http://www.leftfield.coop/2007/09/20/reploy-social-jamm-brixton/ Mark Thomas + others.
The benefit evening for the Remploy Campaign was a success. Music from the Brit School and others was well received; and, Mark Thomas was really good.

Fuck it, I’m tired. This campaign has been going on; on, and off since 1999.

Remploy as a concept is needed. The purist politically correct will disagree; because, they have to.

Their argument always dismisses Remploy workers. Always ignores their needs; needs and aspirations; an aspiration to work in an organised workplace, with good sickness policies, where H&S is observed and they have some sort of a pensions’ promise.

We’ll know the result of the ‘Industrial Ballot’ next Wednesday; then, the fight begins….

Well, please try to work out who best to fight with this time. Let's face it, your bump post isn't a great start, now is it?

For the future if, say, you ask your co-campaigners for advice about why your leafletting did not go so well. Perhaps they suggest that you should not stand in the middle of a bunch of dealers and random touts blocking the exit to the tube station and could perhaps also try not screaming quite so much abuse after people who ignore you or refuse to take a leaflet. In this sort of situation, it is generally best to take their advice rather than start calling them cunts. You do that bit when the bad people appear. :)

Do you visit the dealers in Brixton; cos, you sound as though you are on drugs.

Screaming abuse at people? Nobody screamed abuse at anyone.

Perhaps you should take your suggestions, move your head to one side, and shove them up your arse.

About bloody time! :D

Sorry - felt like being abused and then this thread got bumped ... too good to miss. :o
