Given your fondness for eating out, there are some fine restaurants in Blackpool. Including a 24-hour fish & chip shop.

Canopy Living Treehouse in a Rainforest (with broadband) would be adventure-tastic
Although I think if I had little time to research and was put on the spot I would go for The North Tower Lounge in Tower Bridge. I would hope that the City of London would be kind enough to chuck the Bridge Master's Dining Room in as part of the deal too.
Pretty unique place to call home and you could have pretty good parties there

And you didn't have to worry about money or a job? Would you be all rural self-substainability or penthouses and designer chrome?
I would live in a village near Edinburgh in a very old cottage with a walled garden-there would be chickens, sunflowers and views from the windows
I would very much like a turret but that might be greedy
I,d live in Bristol again at a push, Devon, cornwall and Dorset are all firm faves for me
