Where do old ravers go to dance these days?...
Residential Care Home of Sound
A Nice Sensible Fabric
Big Fish Little Fish Events - 2-4 hour party people - Family raves
Can't find anywhere in Dublin, I'm going to have to travel for a decent nights dancing aren't I!!
They still go to Ibiza.
Loads of old folk still go clubbing if they know the music. I'm off to see Sasha & Digweed nxt month. Doubt I'll be the oldest person there.
Just want to dance unashamedly to a few old tunes without feeling out of place...
Doesn't help that I'm back listening to it every night dancing around the house like a lunatic... Curtains pulled earphones on.. Just so no one thinks I've lost it!!!
Hi Johnny V
Where's it on?
I think the average age of the 'clientele' at Pasha on a Monday, Flower Power night must have been about 55 the only time I visited (couple of years ago). Not unusual to see people in their 70's. Even the entertainers are over retirement age these days.
As Stan says, Ibiza is a good bet. Can get off your tits there without being worried about getting thrown out. Loads of old ravers...
SWG3, Glasgow - cautious about getting f'k'd up in there, though.
Even DC-10, loads of 50+ year olds.
I felt positively young there. It was like I was allowed to get away with being irresponsible
I don't even want to get (too) fucked up.. Just want to dance all night...
Not looking for anywhere big or cool just some great tunes, good vibes, No attitude....
My kitchen is a popular choice these days.
I go to:
Electric Daisy Carnival
I went to a condemned ex-pub in Poplar for a rave last night.
I spent much of the night at the foot of the
stairs concerned about the lack of fire regulation observance
I'd be so happy to be there I don't think I'd even notice fire regs..
Ha Did that all the time at squats. Thought it was the pills with my ocd.
My mates always told me to shut up.
Is District8 no good?
Dancing in the kitchen, living room and mixing in the bedroom!
All being well, my barn in Brittany, summer 2021
Just round the corner from me is Brixton Electric. The old fridge. Old Skool night!
Me and a mate (her a fair bit younger, loves her old school)... dived in.
It was. Terrible.
My mate fell down the stairs in a *bad* way. I “chatted up” a girl who later FBd me
(and everyone on my list) with a “dial-me” type offer.
Me and my mate had - earlier - invited friends randomly. “It’s going off, it’s amazing”
They turned up and after an hour of our gurning gibberish, left.
Never do this.
Then again I’m 50.
Your mileage, I hope, will vary,
literally the worst thing on earth.
