Where do The Human League sit...

didn't soft cell beat 'em to that with 'non-stop ecstatic dancing'?

No I don't think so.

Love & Dancing was the first I think.

Amazing LP that, still listen to it regularly. The version of Love Action on there is a masterpiece.

Don't know how influential they were/are, because I wasn't musically active when they were around. I still like to get "Dare" out for the odd listen now and again though.

Agree with Annierak that the two early albums are the best. Stuff like 'The Black Hit of Space', 'Toyota City', 'Gordon's Gin'.

'kin 'ell, it's nearly 30 years since they came out. Still remember dancing away at some club in Leeds to 'A Crow & A Baby'.

<sobering thought - we are as far away, chronologically, from the Human League as The Human League were from Glen Miller>

<feels nostalgic>

<feels old>

<cries> ;):D:eek:

'Gordon's Gin', what a great track :cool:. Had both albums on before, still sounds brilliant :)
