where can i buy cotton sheets?

You definitely need 100% pure cotton to dye, and you need to wash them on a very hot setting twice before dyeing to remove any special finish which might resist the dye. A bit of a faff, imo.

Ive had sheets from this place
http://www.thecottonmill.com

(oh bugger this pesky new BB!! Can't use it. Grrrr. )

so, i'm curious. why might a person prefer a flat bottom sheet (as opposed to fitted)?

i dunno. i spose making the nice neat straight corner on a bed is my favourite bit of housework. it reminds me of my mum :o

anyway fitted sheets are shit for making dens out of

the question should be 'why does wiskey always want things that arent readily available?' :(
I've been (very inactively) looking for kingsize cotton bright yellow non fitted sheets for years now. No luck :(
