Indeed, although, to be brutally honest, I've always found her just ever so slightly OTT, tiny bit too much vibrato, that sort of thing. Perhaps it's an era thing. [/sacrilege]
 
I rather agree, but how do you follow Che gelida.. and Si, mi...? We may as well go home after Act I :)

To those not loving opera: it helps to go and see one, I was taken to Boheme and Otello in my teens and was hooked.

Fans by Malcolm McClaren anyone? :cool:

Also see La Traviata, which goes off like a fucking rocket.

But Act III of La Bohème is not to be sneezed at, surely?
 
True, and the end should be a proper tear jerker if done well, or a terrible sniggering session if not.
