When does your post arrive?

It used to be 9.30 every morning on the dot.

Then some manager at the delivery office split the route so now I'm o a route that gets done after every other route is complete.

Parcels come at either 9.30 or 12, depending on which postie it is. General post and smaller packets/packages come between 2 and 6pm. And often parcels are just written up onto the 'sorry we missed you' card and left at the delivery office.

It's mainly bills anyway.

I think I've had only three letters in the last year. No idea when it comes. I get Amazon fairly often. The driver always speaks English to us, and knows my name.

We have alternate day deliveries, so one week it’ll be mon, weds, fri and the next just tues & thurs. It can show up anywhere between 12 and 14:30 and they never deliver parcels to your house, they’d rather drive right past then take it down to the local collection point (in supermarket in town) and send you a letter telling you to come and get it.

By the time that all plays out it’s added another week to the delivery time. Bonkers system.

I'm hoping mine comes soon. I've had to have my debit, and credit cards replaced so the sooner the better.

Our postie, Claire, is great and gets here between 8:30 - 9:00am without fail, she'll also leave parcels in our safe place and waits for a signature after knocking

On Saturdays about 30 seconds before I get to the door in a state of panic and vague undress.

Rest of the week I don't know, I'm out by 6.45
