this thread is SAD :(

:D

I think that everyone posting on here should post links to their myspace page, so we see exactly who their friends are, and by everyone I mean especially you, Smokedout.;)

Wierd isn't it

Why would the Alabama 3 and Rob Zombie want to be my friend

Surely it should be me asking them ?

bands ask you to be your friend so you get their bulletins and then they might try and get you to be on your blog list. you can be pretty sure the person who asked you isn't in the band but part of some street team or e-team or whatever.
try writing back saying why the band are so important to you and why don't they play wherever you live on the next tour etc etc and i bet you get a really basic reply ..if any at all
i wrote back to Boy Kill Boy (several times cos they asked to be firneds several times but there was never going to be a way on that one) asking for autographed drumsticks for my brother's birthday but no reply

We've had this. Hard Fi added us to their friends list and now weve been ask to remix the first singles from their next album Which is  x 1,000,000. and we've become pretty good mates too.

Only cos you're both from the chavscum town though innit? ;)

a lot of artists get don't even use their myspace and get someone else to do it all for them.

(just pissing on your bonfire there)

My flatmates were in one of his bands (The Great Divide). I remember going to see them in Cambridge in the early 80s, also Placebo Thing - they were fucking good! I'm not that familiar with Hewerdine's later stuff.

Might have to come to Offline if he's playing.
