I've surprised myself with the progress i've made on the book.. first few pages really dragged but once you get used to the style it tootles along.

Shall I book for 10 people (there's always someone coming along at the last minute just for the food ).

For the people who at least pretend to be interested in the book - the book that was chosen by popular vote at last bookgroup is Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky which imo turned out to be a bit of a page-turner since I started it yesterday, not something I expected (and very good it is, too.)

It looks like I might make this after all
