I had a laugh the other day. I went back home where everyone from Grandmother on down wears flannel shirts, jeans and trainers. They might wear cowboy boots if they were going to a funeral.
I showed up wearing my usual black slacks, soft black sweater, black wool dress coat, black leather shoes and raybans. The look I got was absolutely precious. I think they were expecting me to pull out a couple of submachine guns and start blasting away any minute.
