Trashy, they are gorgeous!

Wiskey, some of us are waiting for an update on wee ishy's health, on your own thread :)

They are a bit lovely if very lazy indeed :D

Oh yes - they were named after the cartoon in the Simpsons (to answer the OP).

All cats are lazy!

Gizmo..because he loked like gizmo when he was little ( all ears and eyes) and Tyler because he was stripped like a tiger...originally called Tigger but got changed as he got older as my son couldnt pronounce Tigger.

Milo...he came with the name.

Kittens call Monkey and Beanie, because.. well, Monkey was always going to happen and Beanie from a conversation about King of Queens.

Currently dog sitting. Not my dog but, she's named Canilla because it's Spanish for Cinnamon.

Not convinced myself. I've already started calling here Canilli.

My first dog was Fred because he was red.

Second dog was Dinah because that was an abbreviated form of her full KC registered name. She was a very posh dog that lived to be almost 20.

Last dog was Frankie. Was going to be Frank, but she was a she.

My cat is called Seamus since that was the name he had when we got him from a rescue home. He was named Seamus after the dustman who found him in a bin.

I once had a hamster called Phet after Amphetamine.

Ive called me cat Talisker, after the nice whisky and it means i can call out "taliy" at night. But it was mostly the fact that when she is 10 i can say i have a 10 year old talisker at home :D

As she is black i was going to call her Pitch, but my mate said thats a bit like Bitch. From then on in i kept thinking in my head bitch all the time, lucky she is a girl so it would be sort of true. But i love taliy

Our cat (7 months old) is Buster Kitton because he's deadpan and does all his own stunts. He also does a passable impersonation of Leonard Rossiter and occasionally combines this with a touch of Harry Worth when he sees his reflection in the glass door of the cooker. The guide dog came ready named so you'd have to ask the GDBA about their naming policy.

cilla black. i'm not sure now why we chose the name

percy aka the ginger ninja

named after the scarlet pimpernel, sir percy blakeney as he just appears

mullet dog

the name just fits her :)

My hamster is called Scrap because she was so tiny when I got her, now she's a lot bigger and has been nicknamed Pudge by a friend of mine. But mostly I call her Nuisance or Hamster (affectionately - "aaawww good morning Nuisance")

Pudeigh (pronounced Puddy). Was a firecly pitched battle between that and Lucy (my sisters name for her).

Chosen because she was a kitten of a time when lots of kids around where I lived were given names spelt in the same style. And her snowy white feet looked like white reebok classics, which was kinda fitting.

Sadly passed away last year but never forgotten.

My senegal parrot is called Jasper. I don't know why, he just looked like a Jasper. Although I say 'he' I don't actually know that he's a boy. I am going to feel very silly calling 'him' Jasper if 'he' ever lays an egg.

My cats are Radar and Sonic.

Radar is a 'cow cat' who is part Cornish Rex and part Siamese and he has enormous ears like radar dishes. He is 9 months old. He is also known as Radeypops, Radeybum, Radeylump, and Rumblecat (cos he purrs when you pick him up).

Sonic (Sonic Boom) is the posh one, he's a blue Oriental. He is 3 months old. We thought that Sonic went well with Radar in a sort of sciency theme, it has nothing to do with that damn hedgehog! He is also known as Sonnywonnywonny, Grumblecat (cos he moans and grumbles if his nap is disturbed), and Widdlecat (don't ask).

Past pets:
Budgies: Maximus, Titus, Spartacus, Dusty, Woody, Basil, Boris, Captain Beaky, Smoky, Chippy
Tortoises: Humphrey, Flash
Rabbits: Bright Eyes, Fluffy, Ginger
Guinea Pigs: Sugar, Sugar II, Candy, Brownie, Ebony

so called because he hates Meowism. boom boom

actually he came from Battersea Dogs Home and they named him Trosky. i saw it as a sign from Uncle Joe and stuck in the extra T. it's great when he's buggered off over the other side of the park and you have to bellow out his name. :D :D :D

The russian blue cat is called Pan, full name Pantalaimon. Had just read the trilogy when we got them, and even as a kitten she had an 'other' quality

The tabby is called Ras, short for Raspberry. Named by my daughter, just 'cos'

Scratchy, she's about 8 and a bit. Called her this cause that's what she does to carpets, wallpaper and all soft furnishings.

Yogi, she's 8 months. B/F had a cat when he was younger called this.
