What's your longest single song you have?

The Day After The Revolution by Pulp - 14 mins 57 seconds

The last note/chord of the song is just over 10 minutes long. What the hell's that all about?

!!!

i've got a "special limited edition bonus disc" (phew!) with mp3 audio,
THREE HOURS WORTH-
of some senile old geezer talking about transcendental meditation or something,
while honking about on a wind instrument-
all scratchy and eerie, 'cos the recording's from the 1930's...:eek: :confused:

:o :p

Probably Alvin Lucier "I am sitting in a room" which clocks in at about 45 minutes, but I doubt that counts as a song really

There's a 24 hour long stretched version of one of Beethoven's symphonies somehwere on the net. That must be up there.
Ha Ha, I was thinking of that, but it's not so much a song as a serious piece of ambient background. It's great, but I've never managed to get through it all. Can't think why :confused:
Some Bill Laswell tracks (the Praxis stuff springs to mind) go on for ages and ages...

the longest track that i know i own is a julian cope track, the b side for one of his singles... iirc it was called "the you're going home in a cosmic ambience mix" but i haven't got a clue what the track actually is. that was fucking way long, like 40 odd minutes i think.

i stand correct, you're going home in a cosmic ambience is something else....

<mockney accent>
Six saintly shrouded men move across the lawn slowly.
The seventh walks in front with a cross held high in hand.
And it's hey babe your supper's waiting for you.
Hey my baby, don't you know our love is true
</mockney accent>

<twiddly keyboard solo>
etc etc repeat until comatose :D

Young Gods -Summer Eyes (19.54)
