What's your favourite soup?

Proper homemade Pea and Ham is amazing.

Mmm, soup.

The two fat ladies did a French Onion soup with a whole stilton rind chucked in. I keep meaning to try it.

I think I may put some massala in the lentil soup to liven it up - that would work out ok wouldn't it?

Don't see why not, reckon that'd be nice

For sheer cheapnicity, I like leek and potato, or carrot and lentil. But if I have a bit more cash to splash, it's gotta be chunky chickpea soup

my own homemade vegetable beef soup...and i hate almost all food.

i like to make fresh bread with it in the shape of bowls :D

the kids devour it too, which i like to see. :)

the boy said once he liked it so much because the main 'gredient' was LOVE.:D

(hes right of course and he meant ingredient obv :p...)

Depends on mood really
Really like boring old cream of tomato a lot from my yoof
Mushroom is good
Stilton with most things is good

Home made is best :)

Apart from the ones, mentioned:

caldo verde
various gumbos
the hot and sour family
leek & potato
French Canadian ham and yellow pea
Ach, there's way too many to list; which is to say my "favorite" soup is the one that's in front of me at any given time. :)

Chicken or that moroccan soup they do at eat

I've only ever made watercress soup. It all seems a bit of a faff and then you have soup coming out of your ears for days don't you?

This thread should be really boring but I feel compelled to keep coming back to hear flavours of soup. Like soup porn.

It's a bit weird.
