Nope I haven't tried that before, my recipe just calls for loads of wine or cider. It is very nommy.

It gives it a bit more of a kick. I put a bit of Remy Martin in my last one.

Miss fran has the best recipe ever. It's long winded because you have to roast bones to make your own brown stock, but it's worth it.

For sheer cheapnicity, I like leek and potato, or carrot and lentil. But if I have a bit more cash to splash, it's gotta be chunky chickpea soup

the kids devour it too, which i like to see.
