What's your favourite recipe book?

I got "Feasts: Food for Sharing from Central and Eastern Europe"
by Silvena Rowe as a Christmas present last year and have used it quite a lot.

Pumpkin and Chestnut Soup from there has become a firm favourite.

I've got more cookery books than you can shake a stick at. It's something of an obsession, tbh. :o

I don't have a favourite, but I like Nigella's How to Eat, anything by Nigel Slater, and a book called Home Cook by Alistair Hendy. I've just got the Abel and Cole one, and another good one called Kitchen Seasons by Ross Dobson.

For weeknight dinners, Olive Magazine do a good range of little books at £4.99 each. I've cooked loads of things from them.

I also have a folder of recipes I've got online or torn out of papers which invariably sees the most action.

Me too. I also use Nigel Slater's Real Fast Food - dead handy for someone like me who doesn't have much time to cook.

And I like Nigella for chocolate cakes
