but, but it doesn't even COUNT! you can't put past with just any sauce can you? it's PURELY for one dish. there's no felxibility. hence it beign a FUNCTIONAL sauce.

yeah but my point is, you can only do one thing with lasagne pasta, and that is LASAGNE. all other pasta shapes you can put with any sauce and different types of meal.
what is it you like about the rectangle flatness of lasagne? hmmm? i suspect it's all the cheese and meat and bolegnese around it HENCE why it doesn't count.

cheese and meat and bolegnese are all nice, but wouldn't be the same with out the pasta sheets.
Its like sausage and mash without a few a veg, they are small part of the meal, but make it so much better.
