I likes him in the same way that I likes Adam Ant and Boy George. You couldn't say that they are musical geniuses but they have something & there's an impression of a real person there, not manufactured. Robbie Williams is another one but I don't like his music much. Same category though. People that can sing & for some reason you get fond of for one reason or another.

I would definitely include Wham songs amongst George's ouevre and therefore nominate Wham Rap which was my favourite song when I was 12.

careless whisper was released by george solo, although ridgeley is credited as co-writer, so maybe it was meant to be a wham song, but they split up before it got recorded? anyway, careless whisper, on account of it ruling. nothing else comes close... gossip do a class live version of it too.
