This reminds me of looking at Lombok from Gili Air. Lombok always seemed to have a storm brewing while the Gilis sat under ridiculously blue skies. I suspect you aren't sat under ridiculously blue skies though.

    Bridgnorth rugby club.

Kids are staying at nanny's, so Mrs Kebabking and I are being grown ups for the second time in two days. Hot pork rolls, paella (!), Mulled wine, hot chocolate, cakes and a live band. £5...

Then a mooch round the pubs of Bridgnorth like an adult might do.

This is a picture of the stream that winds around my village. It's a rubbish picture. The point is I was just walking around my village in the sun, with my camera, and saw an otter in this stream. A fucking otter! And I missed a picture by clicking the off button on my camera instead of the take a picture button which is right next to it.

But I saw an otter! Really clearly. It swam towards me for about 20 metres, panicked, tried to hide to the side of the stream, realised its mistake and just swam all the way to me and under the road where the stream goes. I waited for ages for it to reappear but to no avail.

The stream is really shallow but flows into a bigger one which, in a couple of miles, becomes a river. I never knew we had otters here and I doubt its known to anyone. I've been looking in that stream for 14 years and never seen one.

    Far out. :)

Walked over this before. My mates petrified of heights and I don't get along with water.

I've been over that aquaduct a few times when my mates boat was moored in Chirk, used to lay on the roof with our heads hanging over the side :D brings to mind some good memories

A grown up weekend in lovely Chester - mighty border fortress, home to the over-mighty marcher Earls, and some distressingly expensive jewellers.

friedaweed - lovely gaff. Just a bit jealous actually...

Sadly not - our children are so horrible we can only source babysitting for one night!

Will join in the next one though - cheers for the offer.
