Whats your bedding like?

single or double? kids have the bestest bed covers but theyre not good for me, I think id end up on the floor if i tried to sleep in a single bed now :D

Twas a single, but I got it when I was 17 or so.

Sadly I wasn't the kind of 17 year-old who had desperate need of a double bed :(

I have some 400 thread count egyptian cotton white bedsheets, and brown & white pillowcases/quilt cover. Can't use them since I've moved back to my 'rents house cos they're for a double bed though.

At the moment we have a really soft flannel sheet with pale blue and white snowflakes on it and a white Egyptian cotton quilt cover from Habitat. The quilt is goose feather. The only things that are lacking on the comfort factor are some pillows I bought from Argos which are rubbish - they were cheap as chips but don't give your neck any support.

Can anyone recommend me some nice soft and comfy pillows - but not too soft as I like to read in bed?

all our stuff is cream/white and cotton.
The best thing i ever did was get a king size duvet for my double bed.. Its much more snuggly and no more fights over the duvet

I agree LMHF, even though I have a single bed at the moment I still keep my double duvet on it.

Egyptian cotton stuff is really popular then....

Ivory coloured Egyptian cotton
One set plain and one with linear, understated embroidery
2 sets so one for the wash and one to be on the bed
I have to keep them clean and freshly laundered cos of my asthma
Synthetic duvet and space foam pillows, used to have a lovely goose down duvet but I had to get rid of it as it triggered my asthma

I have 1 egyptian cotton set, dark red (from the days my room was all dark red) and 2 polycotton sets, one of which is now so old its almost like brushed cotton and has a very special place in our lives :D

I want to buy a kingsize duvet for our bed too, cos I'm constantly being moaned at for stealing the duvet. But that can wait till we decorate and I'll do everything then :)

Anyone remember nylon sheets?
My mum bought them when I was little and you couldn't sleep on them as you were sliding around all night
Also they created so much static that my hair (which was down to my knees when I was little) used to stand out like a fright wig

Nylon sheets

very, very wrong

Dark Blue with gold sun moon and stars. Had them for ten years, love them :)

They're not on at the moment though 'cos I take some of my bedding to festivals with me and I can't be doing with all the washing.
